Return & Refund Policy

At The Wooden Maps, customer satisfaction is very important to us. Since our products are handcrafted and made to order, we have specific guidelines for returns and refunds. Please read the policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Returns Eligibility

We accept returns or replacements only in the following cases:

  • You received a damaged or defective product

  • You received the wrong item

To be eligible for a return:

  • You must contact us within 7 days of receiving the product

  • The item must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as you received it

  • You must provide unboxing video/photos as proof

Custom-made or personalized items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless damaged in transit.

2. How to Request a Return or Replacement

To initiate a return or replacement:

  1. Email us at thewoodenmaps@gmail.com with the subject line: “Return Request – Order #[Your Order Number]”

  2. Include:

    • Photos/video of the item and packaging

    • Brief description of the issue

    • Your order ID and contact details

Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 working days.

3. Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is approved and received:

  • We will notify you of the refund approval via email

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–7 business days

Note: Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was on our part.

4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, follow the same return request process mentioned above.

5. Shipping for Returns

  • You are responsible for paying return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error

  • Please use a trackable shipping service — we are not responsible for returns lost in transit
